Students created Animoto videos promoting books for their individual creative projects during the Library Reading Program - "Go Wild! READ!" The winning videos were:Haleigh Starr's "Shimmer" - Amanda Bolinger's "Into the Gauntlet" - Cheyanne Rife's "Sheep." Welcome to the Library, fourth grade students! During the second week of school, you will participate in a unit teaching the arrangement of the library and how to use the automated card catalog! You will explore the Dewey Decimal Classification system, watch entertaining videos, locate great books to read, and get to know your library and librarian! Your new library patron numbers will be assigned and will stay with you until you graduate in 2019!

Computer Loan Program

Beaver School Library is starting a Computer Loan Program to high school students who do not have a computer at home. Teachers will verify that an assignment has been made that requires a PC to complete it. Students and their parents will sign a contract agreeing to use the PC/netbook responsibly, protect it from loss or damage, and t...o return it to the Library "on time" - or pay for repair or replacement of the netbook. Your Federal tax dollars are equalizing education!
